As our life becomes more digital, we need to grow and learn new skills to keep up. Covid has accelerated that trend – not just Zoom calls and filesharing, but remote collaboration for all kinds of problem solving. My guest Jenna Gaidusek is an online interior designer who has decorated hundreds of rooms across the country all from her home office.
She perfected a process as a virtual interior designer and encourages other creatives in the interior design industry to do the same. We talk about her eDesign Tribe (a community of over 3400 members) and eDesign U (an online education platform for virtual design), why she was compelled to find solutions and how she succeeded to build a community of learners, movers and shakers.
Her team collaborated to build the world’s first-ever, all-digital Designer Showhouse (see Ep. #23 of this podcast, and cruise around http://bit.ly/DesignerShowhouse to get a glimpse) – a good example of how to virtually do virtually everything.
